Privacy Policy

theessaygrader.com is run by an individual developer ("I", "me"). This policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

What I collect

• Your email address and basic account details.
• The essays and prompts you submit, and the feedback generated for them.
• Payment status if you buy a plan. Card details are handled by the payment processor; I never see or store them.
• Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and secure.

How I use it

Only to run the service: create your account, generate feedback on your essays, process payments, answer support requests, and prevent abuse. I do not use your essays for advertising, and my own systems do not use your essays to train AI models.

AI processing

To generate feedback, your essay text is sent to third-party AI service providers. These providers may process and store data outside the United States. Where providers offer settings that limit how submitted data is used or kept, I choose those settings. I do not send your name, email or payment details along with your essay. Please leave out personal details you don't want shared.

Sharing

I do not sell your personal information and do not share it with colleges, advertisers or data brokers. It is shared only with the service providers needed to run the site (AI processing, hosting, payments, email), or when required by law.

How long I keep it

Your essays and feedback are kept while your account is active so you can review them. You can delete any essay at any time. If you delete your account or ask me to delete your data, your essays and account information are deleted within 30 days.

Age

You must be at least 13 to use the site. If I learn that a child under 13 has created an account, I will delete it and its data. If you are 13 to 17, please use the site only with your parent's or guardian's permission. A parent or guardian can contact me to review or delete their teen's data.

Your rights

You can access, correct, download or delete your data at any time from your account, or by emailing me. I will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If I change this policy, I will update the date above, and for important changes I will let you know by email or on the site.
